GSCN Funding

A main goal of the GSCN is the support and promotion of junior scientists. The Annual GSCN Conference offers junior researchers a great platform to present their data in oral or in poster presentations.
Another form of financial support is to enable young scientists to visit national or international conferences by offering travel awards.
The GSCN Awards serve as acknowledgement of scientific excellence for female stem cell researcher, for best publication and four young scientists. These awards offer a chance for a keynote in the Presidential Symposium at the conference, a financial prize (1500 €) and the recognition of a scientific prize of the field.
The GSCN is committed to the support of female scientists with young families in the name of gender equality. The network bolsters the Christiane-Nüsslein-Volhard Foundation in their work of financially granting excellent women researchers with a special grant for a stem cell researcher.
